There’ll be free children’s face painting and balloon twisting at St George’s Shopping Centre this May half term.

Scruff Kidz Entertainer, Preston-based Sarah Lewis, will return to the centre twisting different sizes, colours and shapes of balloons and creating sculptures including balloon dogs, giraffes, swords and rabbits, which are free of charge to customers.

Sarah will also be joined by face painter Minnie Scott, as the centre continues to offer free, fun activities to keep the little ones entertained.

The face painting will take place every day from Monday, May 29th to Saturday, June 3rd, while the balloon twister will be crafting from Tuesday, May 30th between 11am and 3pm each day.

Andrew Stringer, general manager of St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “Keeping the children entertained during the school holidays can be expensive, so St George’s is putting on free face painting and balloon twisting to keep your little ones entertained this may half term.

“The activities are free and everyone is welcome to come and have some fun on us.”

The activities will be situated on the first floor of the shopping centre, close to the Friargate entrance.
