Hundreds of families turned out in full force to see friendly street entertainer Titan the Robot perform for shoppers in Preston.
Titan serenaded onlookers with musical scenes, while shooting water from his eyes and showcasing his comedic antics for crowds at St George’s on Saturday.
The eight-foot-tall robot forms part of a line-up of free entertainment taking place at St George’s during the school holidays.
A 17ft long t-rex and its babies will also roam the centre from 12pm on August 19, while children’s entertainer Tricky will bring an hour of comedy, fun and magic to St George’s from 1pm on August 12 and 26.
Andrew Stringer, general manager at St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “We have a number of free fun activities lined-up to keep the little ones entertained throughout the school holidays and Titan was the first of four key events.
We first welcomed Titan to the centre in 2015 and he once again proved to be a huge hit with Preston families – the turnout was fantastic.”
